Will it be good for dentists? Will it be bad? Will dentists make less money? Will dentists make more money? Or will universal healthcare only affect medical doctors? Because dentists have private practices, which means the government doesnt pay their salary. However, the government pays medical doctors salaries. Any clue on how universal healthcare would affect a DENTIST?

I have impacted wisdom teeth and need them out by this summer at the latest. I don’t have any dental insurance and my health insurance expired a few months ago…
I’m 16 years old and I need to come up with 2000 dollars somehow.
Is there ANY way I can get state dental insurance or something similar?
Yeah I know this should be my parents problem…however they are unfortunately irresponsible, so i’m pretty much on my own with this.

My first two years were done at a community college and at the time i was taking the necessary classes for dental hygiene. Now i go to E.W.U. and i want to be a dentist but i have some catch up . I can finish all my necessary classes in 4 years but i’d be grouping alot of harder classes together each quarter and going to summer school. Should i do this and risk lower grades or would dental schools care if i spaced these classes out and took 5 years to get my Bio degree?

Well I was wanting invisalign because they are not noticeable, but then I heard about clear braces.

My teeth are kinda crowded on one side on the top, but the bottom are perfectly straight.

I am 19 and my BF is 22… I am afriad he is going to make fun of me or find me less attractive =(

I know braces are generally suppose to be left on for 2 years, but can it be less than that, maybe like a year or year and half? I mean I’m in college?!

How noticeable are the clear braces?

Also since my teeth are crowded, do you think I would have to get my wisedom teeth cut out first?

What kind of classes must you take in college? and what kind things must you go through to get a degree in dentistry?

My employer does not offer a plan and i need a bridge or implant very soon but most individual plans don’t cover much of the cost and they make you wait 6-12 months for bridges and implants.

Going to have dentures, But want to have the snap in dentures, does any one know how much something like that costs, also there wouldnt be no extracting teeth because they have already been extracted, About a week and a 1/2 ago. I will have regular dentures soon, But if snap ins are affordable for me, Then when I get my 08 Returns back I want to start wioth my bottoms. Dont need an exact price just a ball park.

I need several teeth pulled and would like to have a procedure where i dont have missing teeth. That would be embarrassing. Also know any procedures for that?

i spent 8 years in a bad place, without any dental care and now i’m paying the price for it. i need major dental work… implants/bridge work. does anyone out there have any advice? I know it’s a long shot.. it’s just that i’m barely making it as it is..
