Okay i only need braces for about a year but my dentist says that i should get invisalign.Is that more expensive than the regular braces??? How much do they both cost???

I have not only very unhealthy teeth, but an undersized lower jaw. Both of which is causing quite a bit of health problems (from digestive difficulties to sleep apnia). With this being not merely dental, can my health insurance be used to fund some way of fixing this problem?

won’t even begin to help me. I am hurting extremely bad. What do I need to do? My tooth that is hurting is chipped and half of it is gone. I know it either needs a root canal or to get pulled. Where can I go for help? I think there might be another one starting up now too. What do I do? I cant stand this pain anymore.

A dental insurance plan that will cover 100% of basic trips to the dentist office (check- up, cleaning, filling, etc.) I lost my job 8 months ago and have been without any insurance. I called my dentist office to ask what they thought was a good insurance plan and I learned a lot on what to watch out for on some of the plans out there. I have had the same dentist for 10 yrs. and would like to stay with them, but I guess a lot of the individual plans have only set dentists you can go to. Does anyone know of a great plan that would be good for me to check into?

Are there any legitimate dental insurance plans for self employed people? Not "discount programs", but true blue, real dental insurance programs for people whom are self employed? I have combed the internet and cannot find any except the "bogus" discount programs. Surely it exists.

What criteria do insurance companies use to approve you for insurance benefits? I submitted an application for health and dental insurance & have poor credit so I’m wondering if this could be a reason I won’t get approved.
