Well I was wanting invisalign because they are not noticeable, but then I heard about clear braces.

My teeth are kinda crowded on one side on the top, but the bottom are perfectly straight.

I am 19 and my BF is 22… I am afriad he is going to make fun of me or find me less attractive =(

I know braces are generally suppose to be left on for 2 years, but can it be less than that, maybe like a year or year and half? I mean I’m in college?!

How noticeable are the clear braces?

Also since my teeth are crowded, do you think I would have to get my wisedom teeth cut out first?

not really the braces, but more of clear rubber bands…
1.) do they get stained?
2.) do they look normal?

i have clear braces. not the invisalign but the clear brackets with the rubber band around them…well the rubber bands always get really yellow and im like obsessed with brushing my teeth but they still trun yellow so im wondering if there is anything i can do from keep them from turning yellow? like some special mouthwash or something..any advice would be great

ok im getting braces on friday and i was wondering what you ppl would choose clear braces or the normal ones…

The day that they put on the braces do they give you a choice weather or not you can have clear? Or do they just put on the regular metal?

What is the difference between getting no color braces and getting clear????? I’m getting braces on Tuesday and my mom said i didn’t have to get a color so I’m confused on no color and clear braces/

So, I have pretty "average" color teeth, but I’d like them to be whiter. Trouble is, I have clear braces…. is there any way that I can whiten my teeth without changing the color of my braces? I’m kind of freaking out about my teeth today, since I have a dentist appointment tomorrow!!

Would you rather pay the extra money for clear braces (not Invisalign, but the ceramic kind) or stick with the original metal braces? I’m getting braces soon and I’m debating between the two choices and I’m looking for some insight from people’s personal experience with the two different styles.

Will the othodontist give me tie wires instead of ligatures? im getting braces next month (clear) and heard that the clear ligatures stain really easily. I’ve seen some pics of people with clear braces and tie wires, can the tie wires be used instead of ligatures?

Also (weird questions) can you drink milk with clear braces? If not what about soy milk?

braces as a child so I don’t really want the braces to be noticeable. However the clear braces are 0 more and if they are still noticeable I will just deal with the metal ones for 2 years.

Are the clear braces really that less noticable? My dentist said there is no price difference between the colored ones and clear ones. But my favorite color is purple! Should I get clear ones like as shown:

Whichever ones I get, I will switch to my other option at one of the tighenings, maybe.

i have clear braces on top and metal on the bottom. after i get them tightened theyre so clean, and after about 4-5 days they become yellow again. i brush my teeth twice a day just like the orthodonist told me to. i want white teeth, help please!!

My orthadontist put "buttons", braces like things, that you hook elastics over on my teeth. These do not come off, and are clear, but I smoke… help?

When you get those clear, ceramic braces underneath the metal wire, can you still get color bands put on them?

Im not talking about invisaline, im talking about regular braces, but the clear ones..would i have to have them on longer..compaired to if i got the regular colored ones? im thirteen by the wayy!

I got clear braces and clear rubber bands, and they were alright for a few weeks and then turned yellow. I don’t want to get a color, so I’m willing to deal with the staining, I brush them regularly and don’t drink/eat anything that would stain them, but instead of knowing how to keep them clear I want to know some tricks to get them to go back to clear once they’re already yellow.
Or at least less yellow…

I got braces today. The orthodontist didn't have the option of the colored ones because there's like some new technology or something, so my only options were silver or clear on top and silver on the bottom. I am really bad at making decisions like that, but I chose the clear. Was that a bad choice? Do they get discolored easily?

Oh, and any other tips on braces would be awesome please!
