Is there anyone out there who’s found comparable/better coverage for the money?

My mom is out of work and needs to have some dental work done. I was thinking to get her a Delta Dental Insurance in the hopes that it will help her. If you currently have this insurance or had it in the past, could you please tell me if it’s worth it. Thanks.
If you are an AARP member and gotten Delta Dental insurance, did it work ok for you? There are two plans, A and B. Care to comment?
I’m trying to get a job as a Benefit Services Associate at Delta Dental. I know it’s a wonderful company to work for. Does anybody know how much that position starts you out at though? Thanks!
I had several teeth implanted - for which I did not expect them to pay. Recently, two front teeth broke when I fell - should they not repair and/or replace them just as they would if they were your real teeth? I’ve been a member of Delta for years and they’ve always had an excuse for paying for absolutely nothing.
My husband’s employer is switching their dental plan to Delta Dental in August, and I was just wondering what we can expect in terms of coverage and service.
Thanks everyone. I feel a little more at ease now.
I chose to upgrade to a "Special" dental plan of Delta from the "Standard" dental plan, both of which I have through my employer. Before upgrading, I researched how much of a crown the Special plan would cover. According to the info sheet my HR department gave me, 90% was to be covered for a crown provided by a PPO Network Dentist, and if it was a Non-PPO Network Dentist, Delta would cover only 60%. I asked the dentist if they were a member of Delta, and they said yes. (Since they had not been able to give me an idea of how much the crown would cost me, I made the effort to do this research) I then told the dental office it was 90%. But it turns out Delta only covered 60%. I only learned after that there are different kinds of Delta members (my dentist was member, but not a member of "Delta Premiere"). If a provider is a member of Delta, don’t most people understand it to mean they are therefore part of the PPO network? Very misleading. Who can I show is responsible for these fees?
has anybody had problems or success with these?
I’m looking into getting invisalign, and my insurance switches from guardian to delta dental, so I need to know if i should wait, or hurry and get them with guardian. Which covers more? And if you know, what is the average cost out of pocket after insurance for either?
I am looking for a broker for Delta Dental Insurance and interested in getting the Delta Premier Coverage. However, I don’t know where to call since the Delta Denta site has no contact numbers. I don’t have a dental insurance from my employer.
I have delta though work, my 14 yr old needs braces. What is the average cost? I live in Lakewood Ca. My daughter lives in Apple Valley Ca.
I have had Delta Dental coverage for a number of years for my family. My daughter just went through a treatment of braces that went over the "lifetime limit" of 00 per person. Unfortunately she still requires additional treatment and we're looking at about 00 more.
My wife is about to reenter the workforce and her employer also offers Delta Dental. What I would like to know is if Delta Dental will look at my daughter as a new account if we pick up coverage through my wife's employer? I wouldn't want to purchase Delta Dental twice if the coverage doesn't reset. I realize that most insurance companies won't allow multiple claims against the same incident (i.e. double payments) but if I drop my Delta Dental and go with my wifes, does Delta Dental lifetime limits reset?
Thanks

Are the Philadelphia Flyers Delta Dental Ice Team and the Pittsburgh Penguins Delta Dental Pens Patrol still around for the 2008-09 season? I don't see any mention of them on their respective team websites.
If you have Delta Dental Premier as your dental insurer and/or have personal experience with the workings of dental insurance companies, it would be greatly appreciated. The codes for the extractions are 7230 and 7240 if these are of any use. Thanks!
