Im going to try and get a car this weekend. I’ve never had a loan of any kind and i have numerous unpaid medical and dental bills. I make
Dental Bills Archives
She refused to go to an authorized dentist under my plan and opened dental bills in my name not authorized by me for procedures for our son that were not covered under my dental benefits. Am I responsible for the bill?
my family is poor and need help paying our bills can someone donate money to help ..
I just had a root canal done which was 00 and now I need a post and a crown! How much are both of these? I already have enough medical bills to pay and I dont need extra stress on me to have my guardians pay more. I have acid reflux so I always gag when my dentist puts anything in my mouth and have bitten a dentists finger by mistake and have thrown up in the room too. Should I find a new dentist who I feel comfortable with?
I was just wondering if this was true or not.
I am having much difficulty in getting an answer that makes sense from my dental office insurance biller. I had dual insurance at the time I had services. In my experience billing medical items, we always wrote off anything that a contracted insurance provider stated we had to write off. If they had co-insurance remaining per the EOB, then and only then did we bill the secondary.
1) My dental office isn’t writing off anything per the primary insurance EOB with which they are contracted. 2) The are billing different dollar amounts for the same procedures to the 2 different insurances, 3) They are trying to tell me that if the insurance didn’t allow for something they can bill me more than the EOB states is my responsibility- ie. if insurance allowed for only amalgam filling vs. resin composite (I think this might be fraudulent since they are a participating provider), 4) CDA’s website states only balance billing up to the lowest contracted fee, office is saying 2nd ins is controlling.
I have to get 5 teeth extracted, 10cavities removed, root canal correction and a tooth implant. If I do not get the dental work done then I probably will not see the age of 40 (I am 25). The total price will be between 00 to 00. I do not have dental insurance and have not gotten a consolutation yet. My biweekly paycheck is 9.95. I can try to make my biweekly paycheck 0 or more. I cannot afford the New Jersey health insurance because the cheapest insurance in New Jersey is 4.50 per month. How do I go about paying for this without help from my parents if possible?
can help me find a loan place I have bad credit.
It will be over the 7.5% mark.
I have 8,000 worth of dental work to be done and I already made a half payment even though most of the big stuff hasnt even been started. If I wanted to change dentists what are the odds that I could get that 4000 back?
My girlfriend and I are in a bad situation and I think its time to leave, the only problem is that she is covering me under her dental insurance?
What would happen if she removes me from her policy after we break up?
(HumanaDental if that helps me)
I’ve had bad teeth my whole life. When I say bad, I mean it never fails when I go to the dentist I always walk out with a long list of things that need to be done from fillings to root canals to crowns. It always ends up being this major expense (even with dental insurance) that lately I’ve just stop going to the dentist just because I can’t afford it. Can anyone suggest ways to save money on dental bills without neglecting the work that needs to be done? Are there any agencies out there that could help with expenses or low cost supplemental dental insurance that I could use along with my regular dental insurance provided by my employer? Any and all suggestions welcome.
braces, what rights do I have to inforce him to pay his part. Will child support make him pay whether he likes it or not?
i paid quite many hospital bills, dental bills and school tuition out of my pocket in 2007.I just wanted to know how do i go by itemizing these if i can?
I am not trying to be a money grubbing b****, my son is 9 years old and his father has made no attempt to see him in years, when he does see him it’s because we run into someone in his family.
Anyway about my question, we both live in Ohio, we were never married or even a couple, so there are no custody papers, I am the one who is raising him (with the help of my husband) feed him and clothe him. I have never asked his father for anything, in fact he rarely pays his child support. I have paid for everything since he was born (all medical/dental bills, ect.). His dentist recently refered him to an orthodontist and they want him to have an expander and then partial braces.
I am just wondering if it’s his responsibility to help pay for this, he has never carried insurance on him or helped with anything else, but I know braces are very expensive and my insurance will only cover 00 of it.
I am not expecting/wanting him to pay for all of it, right now I am planning on paying for it myself, I just want to know if legally I can ask him to help?
I don’t think some of you understand that paternity has already been proven and a child support order has been in effect for about 7 years now, he just doesn’t pay it. We were once friends and all I wanted was for him to be a good father to his son, like any mother would. Did not want a relationship or money, I didn’t file for child support until he left the state and had another kid on the way and had made no contact with my son for almost a year. I was a little pi$$ed, not that he was with someone else or even having a child with them but that he had neglected the child he already had. My dad wanted nothing to do with my sister and I until we were almost old enough to take care of our selves, I wanted better for my son, I wanted his father in his life, we were friends, I thought we could make it work.
My husband is in the military and we have United Concordia Dental coverage. Unfortunately, this plan doesn’t cover much because we’ve had to pay over 0 for one child already this year and now we’re looking at at least 0 for his brother. Is there any governmnt agency that helps with dental bills? Or is there some other program that I can combine with our dental insurance so we don’t pay so much out of pocket? Any help is appreciated!
My dentist DOES participate with United Concordia, they just don’t cover a lot. For example, they think that conscious sedation is an "elective" because a 4 year old should be able to hold still to have a cavity filled right? So stupid, it might be an elective for an adult but not for a child in my opinion. They also have a really low cap, my 4 year old is almost at his max for the year already. To get his cavity filled I had to pay 5 out of pocket for the full price of the sedation and co pays for the other stuff. United Concordia does not provide very good coverage in my opinion, so I’m looking for something to supplement it.
Every week child support is taken out of his check and he also provides for her very well as far as school supplies, clothes and recreational things that kids do. What are the usual guidelines on paying for dental if the ex claims her every year on taxes and he only sees her every other weekend?
I married a foreigner and while he was here in the US he incurred about 0 in dental bills. He now abandoned the marriage and left the country. In Wisconsin, am I responsible for all of these bills? or just half? Should I call the dental office before they send out a bill? He had his parent’s address (they are here in the US) on the billing so it would go to them and they would just let it go to collections. I don’t want this affecting my credit.
PS. I don’t need any lectures on immigration, just an answer to my question.
In 2004, I was involved in a bad car wreck which left me unable to work. I was awarded a settlement. A settlement which included money for me to pay my medical bills which I incurred because of this accident. The bills totalled over 0,000. Since I payed these out of my pocket, is this amount tax deductible?
Dental Bills payed out of my pocket. Are they tax deductible? I really need to know.
Attention "Just Me", it seems your outvoted, and for your information..The settlement was for my income, and my bills and for anyone else that helped me out during that very traumatic time of my life. I’m not able to work anymore.
Also, your wrong about the "lost wage compensation" being taxable. Before we even settled the case, I had 5, I said 5 prominent accountants from Columbus, Ohio come in and tell me their view on how I should go about having the settlement divided up. Lost wages were talked about. I was told that "absolutely" no part of my settlement was taxable. So your information is flawed. I wouldn’t have replied to "your" comment, but the CAPITAL LETTERS set me off.
Confidence is one thing, but confidence without evidence isn’t worth the time you took to type it.
As for the rest of you all, you really are all telling me exactly what I had been told. I had a few people that told me otherwise. You all are along with the majority. I wish I could pick all of you.
I have to go for my next treatment at the dentist soon and for my cleaning they have it in two parts. The first part says: Full Mouth/Antimicro. And the second part of the cleaning is Prophy-Adul/Fluor/Excl. The hygenist told me that this is just a cleaning. I've never had to have a two part cleaning when I go in my for my cleanings before so this is something different for me. My question is, is this what they refer to as a deep cleaning? Because I heard those hurt a lot!
