I am trying to help a friend out who lives in South Carolina she needs dental care but I cant find any social service organizations to help her ,they denied her for Medicaid ,are there any more options in south Carolina to help a very low income person get dental care?
I need some work on my teeth like really bad. The dental portion of my health insurance was eliminated last year but I can’t afford dental insurance on its on. And the cheapest plan offered doesnt cover anything and I would be out of pocket more than I’m paying for it. I don’t qualify for any medicaids (this state doesn’t cover adult dental care) and I would really like to save the few teeth I have left. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!
My husband hasn’t been to a dentist since he was 12 or 13 and he is now 22. I would like to take him to the dentist to have his teeth checked and cleaned with the possibility of fillings and of course he’ll need X-rays. I was wondering what the average cost of dental care is if you would go to a dental school program? We live in West Virginia and are looking to go to the WVU School of Dentistry. We also do not have any health insurance. Thanks for your help.

I know here in America we’ve heard talk that in a lot of the European countries, your medicine is "socialized" and government-funded. But I was wondering if you could tell me something about your dental care system; is that government-funded too? Or do you have to get private dental insurance (like here in the US) to get covered?
Also, if you could tell us which European nation you live in, I’d appreciate it.
Isnt dental care a right too in America? Seems like it should be if health care is a right.
Since the health insurance that I have doesn’t cover dental and I’m not able to afford separate dental insurance, I haven’t been to a dentist in three years. Is there is a cheap way to get dental care without getting a cheap dentist that will do a crappy job?
I have no dental insurance, need to have some teeth pulled, including wisdom teeth. Hoping there is a Dental school nearby that offers free/low cost care.
I really need to enroll in a dental care program, I know that most military dependants can go through something called Concordia, but I just looked at their website and it didn’t seem to help. Does anyone have personal experience with this, or know how much it costs? If it helps, I am a navy wife. Thanks!
I live in Alabama and my husband has just been diagnosed with heart failure. He has weak and missing teeth and that makes it difficult for him to eat the vegetables and fruits that he should include in his diet. Due to his medical condition he is unable to take ibuprofen for the pain that his teeth cause. If anyone could tell us how he can get the dental care that he is in dire need of we would greatly appreciate it.Or if you can suggest a method of pain relief that would not be harmful to a man with congestive heart failure , that would be helpful. Thank You.
He has signed up for medicaid but it could be up to six months before he gets a decision on whether or not he gets it.
I want to have my extremely messed up wisdom teeth pulled, but here in the USA I am looking at paying ,000; that is, ,000 per tooth! I am also an up-and-coming traveler, and was wondering if I could go to another country-Thailand maybe? Or somewhere with good dental care-and get them removed for less. If anyone can tell me more about this I would greatly appreciate it.
My mother needs dental care due to having severe acid reflux. She had a beautiful smile. She contracted a stomach virus and vomited several times, the acid from her stomach deteriated her right front tooth. She has half or less of it left.We live in Anniston,Alabama. My mother is on SSI which doesn’t pay for the dental work she needs.Like veneers or somthing along those lines. We would love to see our mother smile again.

Probably no one is this perfect. But what is your idea of perfect dental home care?
P.S. To dentists and hygienists: Here’s your chance to tell us what the perfect dental patient would do.
A friend of mine broke his tooth on Friday evening. He went to a local hospital emergency room and was given pain meds and told to see his dentist first thing Monday morning. Why can’t hospitals provide emergency dental care !
I am shopping for pet insurance am trying to decide whether I want routine care (which includes dental and routine shots) added onto the insurance coverage or if I should just pay out of pocket.
Thus far, my dog is in good health.
They used to have really bad teeth. The French had better dental care long before the brits.
Say I get a new dental care package. What does it typically cover? Could I get a policy and immediately use it for fillings. What is the cheapest dental coverage out there that covers fillings and cleanings? Is it economical and feasible to pick up a policy, carry it while you need it and then drop it?
Please tell me about your dental coverage experiences. Right now I went to a dental school, but I wanted to research my other option to make sure I’m making the right choice
Hi everyone, I’m a 2x veteran that seperated from the Army, recently I have trouble finding a dentist that will provide dental care under a Vet Affairs dental reimbursement program. Because I have one missing tooth (pre-existing cond.), the costs for the dental implant exceeded the VA fee schedule, therefore will not reimburse the dentist. VA has been ignoring my case for almost a year now. If I go for priv dent. ins. I will not be covered for a teeth implant. Now I’m thinking of going to Mexico for dental care. Are there any other options?
I am a low-income resident of Los Angeles who needs immediate dental care. I would like to know of low cost or no cost dental plans/insurance for people in my area.
I am 60 and take care of my grandsons, so I have little money to use towards dental care. I need a root canal and crown badly on a tooth that shows when I smile. It looks black because I broke part of it off. Do not tell me to get dental insurance as they do not work for 1 yr. Is there a place someone like me can go to get cheaper dental work?
