Since they want to mandate that I purchase my rights why doesn’t that include dental insurance?
I need to have 3 crowns made for 2 molars and 1 bi molar. My insurance is covering 60% of each crown.
I had 3 root canals totally around 0 after 80% insurance coverage, done by a endodontist.
I gave my dentist 0 when I had the perm filling put in and will be giving him 0 when i am fitted for the crown. He had to insert a post into the molar. Is this about the correct costs after the 60% insurance coverage? This is only for 1 crown and Ill have 2 more to cover. I have yet to see any insurance claims on the insurance company website for the dentist but saw them for the endodotist.
my friend told me some dentists take tricare but i need my wisdom teeth taken out and now the dentist says he doesnt take tricare. so who do i go to? im tired of the military giving me the runaround.now theyre saying i have to pay a month and others are say i pay a percentage!!! ugggh any answers. preferably from someone in the airforce so i know itll be the same answer for me thanks
My jaw is killing me, I have no dental coverage or money to see a dentist, I have broad spectrum anti-biotics and my jaw is just terribly painful. I’m on lortab and oxycodone for my back and have been using that for the jaw as well with little or no relief. No pain in my teeth or sign of any tooth infection, absess etc. how would I go about seein someone for this with no money. My dr said the jaw is a dental issue and I cannot find anywhere I can do payment plans for the whole visit in PA. what could this be. My friend is a dental assistant and said it may be from grinding but its throbbing and I can feel my pulse in it which to me seems like infection. Please anyone with any help would be greatly appriciated
first off this isnt about my back or diet, i eat only whole foods and no meat but protien suppliments so it is not related to diet please only relivent answers
I have CIGNA PPO and an annual dental max limit of 00 - yes, it sucks. I need to get (2) D2740, D6750 and D6240 but clearly it is WAY over the max amount allowed. Has anyone ever asked their HR to increase dental coverage and how did you do this? Or has anyone ever appealed their dental company after something like this was performed? It is major restorative, but the insurance and HR might consider it as cosmetic, but I hate the way my teeth look and it’s really affecting the way I am.
Any serious answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I know it is difficult to find ortho coverage when older than 19… I currently have a Blue Cross HMO plan that will cover me- but not much. And I am having a terrible time trying to find someone to accept this. Is there something better I can get? My teeth need a lot of work.
i am trying to get info on dental insurance, many offices are quoting me prices of 5 per wisdom tooth, and i am in alot of pain right now, the pain goes and comes, but these wisdom teeth are expensive when you have no dental insurance, if there is anyone with really great info please share. Info in FLORIDA is what i need, if there is anyone with some great info please it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I’m having a really hard time finding an insurance company that are available to temps. Unfortunately I make too much to be eligible for medicaid, which is ironic because I don’t make a lot of money! lol So any suggestions!? I really need to go to the dentist asap, I’m in a lot of pain :’(
I currently live in Canada, Ontario to be exact. I have just recently lost my job and wasn’t covered by dental coverage anyway. But over the past while I had a tooth that rotted due to me having soft teeth in my mouth and at first it didn’t really bother me to be honest but it just broke in half and now every time I move my tongue it hurts more than sin itself.
I tried OW (Ontario Works), which is assistance, to see if their dental coverage could at least get the tooth removed properly and the infection in my gums dealt with (Also, the tooth is a small molar) and to no avail. I’ve been trying to find a job and also considered seeing if a dentist around here would take installments so I could just go on assistance and pay for it that way to no avail on either.
It’s starting to get irritating, extremely irritating, that it’s this hard to get some basic dental work done. I’m about ready to start doing some terrible things to what most would consider good people.
Anyone have any answers that can help?

Dental Insurance coverage, Who has the best plan?

My 11 year old has autism and is totally non compliant with the dentist beyond a basic cleaning. He has some issues that need to addressed and the only way that will happen is in a pediatric OR under full sedation. Our dentist is wonderful, but we know our insurance company will turn down the full sedation (they only cover it if children under the age of 5). We are planning to appeal as there is no other way to do the needed work. I had been told at one time that since our child has diagnosed special needs that would make working on him in a tradtional way impossible, the insurance company must cover the costs. If anyone has any idea on where to look or a link to a site that discusses this topic, I would appreciate it. We live in MD, in case it is a state by state issue, Thanks so much!
I need to get my husband dental coverage as soon as possible. We’ve been meaning to get around to getting him dental insurance but have put it off. He has a horrible, horrible pain and needs a root canal.
How likely is it to find insurance that will get coverage the next day or next few days?? Anybody know any dental insurance like this?
What is the cost of getting a molar root canal without insurance?
Does anyone know of anycheap dental coverage for NC? I need root canal and crown work done and got an estimate of 00 from my dentist. I want to know if theres a plan where i dont have to wait a yr to get coverage on these major procedures? thanks
What are the benefits for a health savings account if I already have medical and dental coverage?
Just a quick general knowledge question. Someone at work here is questioning our dental plan becuase she needs a root canal. I personally rarely use the health or dental coverage. I was under the impression that most dental plans paid a percentage of the cost of dental work up to a predetermined out of pocket amount for the insured. For example, the insured may have to pay 60% of the cost of dental work during the year up to a total out of pocket expense of ,500, after that , all is covered. Someone else at work is saying it is the opposite. The insurance co. will pay their percentage up to a predetermined amount and then it’s all on the insured. How are most policies structured?
PSEA Health and Welfare Departmant in Harrisburg, Pa. is the organization. I want to download a form without waiting for a mailing.
