What kind of classes must you take in college? and what kind things must you go through to get a degree in dentistry?

I live in Central Valley Ca and I have no dental insurance I cant afford any dental plans I desperately need dental work done, my front tooth is missing. I am 24 and I don’t smile that much and don’t talk to a lot of people because I am insecure about my mouth. Does anyone know where I can get low cost dental work done in close to where I live?

I guess I should ask why isn’t dental Hygiene not such a big deal in say Europe but over in the US a brownish, or yellow smile is completely disgusting?
how expesnisve could a toothbrush and toothpaste be in London?
shakermaker: okay? We are now free, but you still have grey teeth..wtf?

I need to see a dentist about a toothache I’ve had since December. I lost my job and benefits last September. I can’t afford to pay a dentist cash. I do have a small reserve, though, and want to know if the discount dental plans out there really help to save money? I don’t want to get insurance because the premium will be more expensive than just walking into a dentist’s office and paying cash.

I am currently out of work with no dental insurance. I am seeking other options for my dental care since I have been feeling a bit of sensitivity in two of my molars. These molars have fillings already and I was told I may need a crown. I looked into dental plans, but I am not sure if they are reputable plans to "buy". Also, is it worth it? Plans I have looked at are dental plans by Aetna, Delta Dental, etc. If I need a crown for example, it says I will pay a copay of 400 and above depending on treatments. My question is, is a dental plan something I should be looking into or are there other options

I have done some research and have decided againt Ameriplan and am leaning towards AVIA, Careington Care, or Unicare. Does anyone have these Dental plans and used and are they good or another legitimate dental care plan that is good?

I’m trying to find a decent dentist plan since my work doesn’t offer one. I’m hoping to not get too expensive in the monthly pay and decent benefits. I don’t want one that makes ya wait 6 months before getting anything done besides cleanings which I know is gonna be rare, but I figure maybe with the way things are companies are making exceptions. If ya know of any, thanks for helping!

Hello,

So I need to get a dental plan I prefer a PPO.
Do any of you know a good inexpensive personal PPO dental plan?

My girlfriend needs her wisdom teeth out. The thing is, she only has health insurance and her employer doesn’t offer dental. How much would removing 4 wisdom teeth normally cost? (local anesthesia) Also are there any dental plans that would help her with this and give her basic coverage without gobbling her paycheck? She lives in MD so it would have to be available there.

I am looking for a good Dental Plan. Does anyone have a suggestion. I went to http://www.applynow1.com/dentalplans and it seems very reasonable and a great dental plan. What do you think? I am thinking about signing up. Thanks

I have been looking at High and Standard Option Dental Plans. (I work for the federal government). These plans seem to pay about the same for pretty much the dental procedures. Am I missing something? Whats the difference between a high and standard option plan?

I’m having an issue with a capped tooth (uggggggggh!) and need to sign up for the insurance you get through Tricare. I think its Concordia? I’ve heard that its not the best dental plan and was wondering if those who have used it think its worth it? If people wouldn’t mind sharing their experiences that’d be great!

I’m and Active Duty dependent.

Thanks!

If yes, approximately what price range do they fall under?

I need quite a bit of work on my teeth and a little bit of what may be considered cosmetic. Will having a dental plan on top of my insurance actually make a difference and help financially with the bill? (Considering of course that the dentist actually accepts both my insurance and plan)

I have to go to the dentist and possibly have some work done on my teeth. I want to get some sort of insurance or a dental plan to help me pay because i know its going to cost a arm and a leg.
