I was told that only my insurance would cover surgery if dental work is needed. I need to find a dentist first for checkups before i do this. Plz help in the state of virginia please. (tidewater area 757)

Hello, i need my wisdom tooth pulled i believe, it is so painful but i can’t afford anything right now. Can I buy insurance today and go in a few days or will they not pay?

My insurance covered my cleaning at 100% but I was responsible for the tax.

I was told in the consultation that my insurance can only cover 80% of my removal of my 4 wisdoms teeth. It will be ,500 to remove my wisdoms and the insurance can only cover ,200 according to them, the surgeon. And the rest 0 i have to pay.
I wanted to know if this is true with other surgeons if i was to go to other places.
Insurance doesnt cover the whole %100??

I would have never set feet in that office had she said they don’t take my insurance. Is she responsable for misleading me? Besides attorneys, who shall I turn to to defend my case?

Well, a friend of mine has bad teeth he wants to get pulled out, but dosen’t have Medical Insurance. He’s willing to pay in small amounts every month if needed. He’s just in major pain. Any help would be appriciated. I live in Dania/Miami Florida.

We have a new dentist because we moved. My wife got a filling and had to go back a second time to fix the same filling. I got a filling from the same dentist and I need to go back to get it fixed because it is uncomfortable to eat still after a month. I had NO problems before the filling but he said I should get it. So is this an insurance dentist scam??? Why can’t it be done RIGHT the FIRST time? I know they call it a PRACTICE but it’s not brain surgery.

I gave the receptionist my insurance card and was told I was covered, I got work done to 4 teeth and I paid them 0 out of my pocket already that same day. Later, I was sent a bill in the mail for over 0…Also, I received several checks from my insurance that totaled less than ( I think it was to help cover the costs)…help! what can I do? I live in St. Charles Missouri and one of my teeth are killing me, I know I need to go to the dentist but I just got laid off, taking my dental insurance with it. Is there a way you can search dentist that will perhaps take payments, or ones that are cheaper because they are made for people without insurance?

I don’t have insurance b/c my dad(who doesn’t live with us) lost his job. I needed a root canal so my mom said her insurance would work for me. The lady at the dentist office called and checked and said I was approved. My mom would pay every month, and I can’t remember but I think it was around 500+(full price w/ insurance)I had a root canal and it was done. Now all of a sudden they claim that is wasn’t validIinsurance didn’t go through and they want my mom to pay the full amount(1000+). Had they not said it was approved, we wouldn’t have agreed to do the root canal. That is their mistake. What can she do?
