I heard that there is a treatment some dentists are offering and they will completely knock you out before filling cavities,root canals etc. I am so frightened of the dentist I am willing to pay extra money for this.What is the name of this? Will insurance pay for part of it? Thanks for any info!!

I’ve been quoted K for dental work by my American dentist and can’t afford it. I’ve heard that dentistry is much less expensive in Mexico and that most dentists there are just as skilled as US dentists.

I get that someone might have special training for pediatric dentistry, but I’m wondering why disabled gets tagged on to that. I’m stil not sure if this is just some joke that got out of hand, or if it’s true, but I’ve heard it many times, and not just off of The Whole Nine Yards. My question is, is this true, and if so, why? I can understand if dentistry students have a high suicide rate, but why a dentist? They make great money, their job seems interesting, and chalanging at times, plus they have great hours, and don’t have to deal with people dying right in front of them like medical doctors do. Does anyone know the deal about dentists being suicidal?

does anybody else hate dentist i know i do. because when i was a kid about six or so i went to the dentist and they gave me gas but he left and didn't come back for a hour or two and it had worn off by then. I felt him pull every single tooth out but the dumb ass said your just pretending to fill the pain. i never went back to him for over ten years. but when i did go back he never touched my teeth but he tasted my fist. that is why i dont like dentists anybody have any stories like that
