Veneers are teeth that are surgically implanted, and this is what I want instead of getting dentures, and I was wondering how much they cost, and I do not qualify for dental insurance and do not have any other kind of insurance that would cover this either. Thanks for all answers!

I am 26 years old and have had major problems with my teeth- stemming from problems as a child (medication,etc). My lower teeth can be saved with some money, but have been told that unless I can find ,000 I will have to have an upper denture placed. I have been crying for 3 weeks straight, and am terrified- I am only 26!!! I am also a student and have no income (possibility for a part time job-but that will not cover cost). I have buck front teeth,and crowding on the uppers, and will need numerous root canals,crowns, fillings, etc. Is there anything in Canada that can help me? I have see dental plans from the states, but live in Alberta, so need Canadian info. I have no support- parents want me to go with cheapest/quickest option and just get it done and over with- no amount of reminding them that I have to live with this the rest of my life means anything to them. I am at my wits end, please someone help me.
Can I get an upper denture now and save all my money and in a few years replace all my teeth with individual implants? I don’t want to take my teeth out (afraid of what that will do for dating, and relationships) and am terrified that they will be noticable. Are you loveable with dentures? Or is it to hard to deal with someone with "removable" teeth? I am so scared right now, and no one is offering me any advice or information except to just do it and deal with it. I have had a partial on top and bottom for years and never could eat with them. Now I find I have to have all my remaining lower teeth pulled because of medication I took years ago. I want to know how the snap in stay in place and how they compare in cost. I would so love to, if I am going to have them, be able to eat with them with out pain.

My wife has trouble with her teeth and does not have a good bite as it were. She has had poor history with regards to crowns, 4 of them having to be pulled shortly after installation. She has two teeth that have recently chipped. The dentist says we need to get dentures either with implants or without to support them. She has 21 teeth and one dentist says to install crowns and partials. But he is not realizing that crowns don’t work on my wife. So we have a situation that crowns don’t work on. What price have you seen for removal of 21 teeth and installation of upper and lower dentures?

I recently went to Aspen Dental to get an estimate on full upper and lower dentures and extractions. I already have a partial for my upper. They gave me an estimate of close to 00.00! This is NOT for the top of the line dentures they offer but just the mid-grade! Has anyone ever heard of dentures and extractions costing so much?

I already know that it takes time to get their approval.
