Group Dental Archives

My first two years were done at a community college and at the time i was taking the necessary classes for dental hygiene. Now i go to E.W.U. and i want to be a dentist but i have some catch up . I can finish all my necessary classes in 4 years but i’d be grouping alot of harder classes together each quarter and going to summer school. Should i do this and risk lower grades or would dental schools care if i spaced these classes out and took 5 years to get my Bio degree?

I want to choose another career path and thought about starting here.

Does anyone think this is a good choice? I prefer working in calm environments and around small groups of people… I actually feel calm at the dentist.

How long is the course or will some offices train? How much do they start you with?

No group policy offered through work.

I have recently graduated from Dental School. I am looking for a job as an Associate with a dental office/group. I want to start my own private practice within one year. HOW should I proceed? WHAT do i need to know? WHERE should i consider locating?
Does anyone know of any ASSOCIATE positions leading to a buy-in in the Houston’s NW or W or SW area?

Does anyone know where i could apply for scholarships or grants for minority groups? I’m planning on attending dental hygiene school and i’m 1/4 Cherokee. Thanks for your help!!

I went to a chiropractor today, and I get this vibe that there is scientology in practice there. I’m a little leery of groups that practice scientology. Is there a way to find out if that is what they are up to? They’re just really peculiar in the way they do things, and it seems all to familiar to a former dental group I know that practiced scientology. What are some signs or tip offs to look for?
Should I be concerned that they might be practicing scientology? Are they going to brainwash me into spending money?

After i had a replacement, left me with: cannot eat/drink/chew on my left side of all molars. Also with terrible pain especially cold, warm water, food and everything. Would that be they (dental group) ruined my root and nerves? Can someone help me? Can i sue them with justice, so that they can stop butcher patient with cold blood? Please help. Thanks

do they want to occupy us like the US military in Haiti. Yankee imperalist!

I need insurance very quickly. I just paid 300 for a wisdom tooth to be removed, and I also need a few root canals. I want my mouth to look good, and feel good, and am ready to put in the time and effort to change things for me. Im in alot of pain.

I have been going to Lake Nona Dental Group in Orlando, FL. They just told me they are contracted with Delta Dental, and United Concordia, but they can also accept others. What does contracted with these companies mean? I used to have bcbs there ppo plan, but it didnt work for pretty much anything. I want something thats going to cover root canals, and also making my teeth look new.

Your help would be greatly appreciated .

I had bad dental work done in Algondones, Mexico in February 2008 at Gator Dental Group. The dentist was Dr. Miguel Fuentes. He make seven (7) crowns for me and all seven (7) will need to be replaced. My bite was off, I could not floss between some crowns. The crowns were not seated correct so I had open margins plus extra cement around the gums and between the crowns. You can find good and bad dentist in Mexico and in the United States . I just found a bad one.

I used to have nice teeth, now I have about 8 in my head, 3 of those are porcelin, i do n’t smile, laugh or talk alot around groups. I’ve had estimates, too expensive, I need a place where they would take alittle down, and make payments. I want teeth. It makes my whole day suck…..

Me and my employer paid about 0 in premium per year. The Insurance Company (Pr__cipal Fin__cial Group) only allow 8 of the expense. Their net profit is 2.00

My health care preimum is almost K per year and the coverage is so limited. I even have to pay a co-pay per visit.

my mail is saroty2000@hotmail.com
i thought of creatin a dental group all over the world to get useful information from each other in our field…anyone concerned plz add me on her/his list….thx

a group of seniors making ugly faces and singing off key, and may be the worst commercial ever made.I don’t wear dentures, but if I did, I would never buy Sea Bond.I wonder if the producers have a clue as to how much they’ve made seniors look like complete fools? You can watch it on you Tube.

Group insurance is high, and yet they are better then private, I just cant afford it. I would like to find a coverage that was relatively cheaper, that will cover pre exst. cond. and somewhat PPO.
IS there such a dental plan out there?

My daughter had a bad experience with a dentist. She was a dentist among others in a dental group. I would like to write a letter and complain, but wonder who or what I could write it to.

Does anyone have Ameritas Group dental Insurance if so how is the coverage? Does anyone have any suggestions to Dental Insurance

I am looking for dental insurance that accepts only dental and can be just one person.

I have been doing some research to get me some insurance, but I am told I have to be part of a company or group, or they require signing up for medical to get the dental.

Arent there any companies that just do dental insurance for regular people?

Thanks!

Back in July I started looking for a dentist in Atlanta, GA. I checked the online reviews on both Yahoo and Google, I automatically knew not to go to this one dental group because the reviews were horrible. Now all those reviews are gone and only 2 positive ones from April 2005 remain! What’s up with the missing reviews?

Do you know where I can get a copy of all of the dental insurance carriers and their groups. Some know it as the "trojan list" (i am in the state of CA)
