How long does it take to get braces after you have an appointment with an orthodontist?
My two canine teeth pop out, and Ive already talked to my dentist and we’ve decided that its time for braces. After i scheduled an appointment with an ortho, about how long until the braces get put on?

After you have your appointment with you orthodontist, they usually sit down and talk to you about what kind of braces you will be getting and stuff. Normally, they will then ask you when you would prefer to get them. But if they don’t ask, and you have maybe a specific day or a problem you should tell them right then. So what they did with me was since we asked them to get them on as soon as possible, that’s exactly what they did. I got my braces on 2 weeks after my appointment. Hope that helped.
Well, they still have to do x-rays, and sometimes they’ll have to put on retainers or twin-blocks too, so a long time if you need the retainers.
your first appt in a consult they take xrays and impressions,depending on them you could get them on as soon as you can get an appt!
