how much does going to the dentist and optometrist cost in montreal?
for example if i wanted to have a general check up from both doctors, what would be the average pricing, for a good dentist and eye doctor in a nice neighbourhood?

I paid $94 for a general exam with four ex-rays in March 2006. It is difficult to tell you exactly how much you will pay, for every dentist charges a few dollars more within the norm allowed by the Dental guide lines.
As for eye exams, you can go to any eye glass place. They do have optometrists on the premises that will examen you but you must make an appointment first. This was $40 the last time I went. It may be a few dollars more now. Prices go up every year.

Ophthalmology: 514 340-8280 ext:1 I believe this is free with your Medicare Card. They will ask for a doctor’s referral. I took my mother and she did not pay.
