I am trying to find affordable dental insurance in Northern VA that’s not with my job. Anybody know any?
I basically maxed out my dental insurance I have with my job because I had my wisdom teeth pulled. I still need different things done like filling cavities and a cap. I need to find another affordable insurance company to sign up for quickly so I do not cause too much harm to my teeth. Ive had painful tooth aches to the point that I have had to get root canals and have teeth pulled so I am really hoping to find something quick before it ever gets that bad. Please help!

From my experience it’s really hard to find an actual dental insurance plan unless its offered through a group such as your job. However you should look in to dental discount plans. Although they are not actual insurance plans they can still help you save a significant amount of money. i recently joined this plan :

It has actually saved me a lot of money. Dental insurance is not offered through my job and I feel like this is the next best thing. I initially joined the plan because I wanted to get braces, but the Orthodontist quoted me over $5,000. I started looking into these plans and Ameriplan saved me over $2500.00. My braces only ended up being $2400.00. These planes cover a pretty wide range of services, but you have to go to a dentists that is contracted with the plan. The plan that I purchased through Ameriplan is only about $8.00 per month. It’s proven itself worth it up until now.
You can also ask your dentist office if they know of any insurance plans or discount plans that they participate in that would be beneficial to you.
You can also visit this website and it can provide you with a list of dental plans in your area that you can enroll in: http://www.dentalplans.com/
Hope this helps : -)

I have been in the same situation year ago. When I maxed out my insurance and needed some type of additional coverage to help with my dental needs. That’s when I found this great plan. I would encourage you to visit this great website: http://www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years ago and they have saved me thousands of dollars on all of my dental services since. From exams, extractions, xrays, fillings, Cleanings..etc They even had my very affordable benefits active in 2 hours and was able to use them the very same day. And I use it when I max out my insurance and its pennies on the dollar. Good luck and Hope this helps
