I have a question about how much braces cost?
Lets say my braces cost 5k and i visit my orthodontist every month to change my braces… would that mean i have to pay 5k every time i change my braces? or does the 5k cover for the whole treatment?

I’m not sure where you’re located but there are discount plans out there that will help you save a lot off the 5k. One particular plan, if you go to a general dentist for the braces it’s $2000 if you’re under age 19 and $2200 if you’re over age 19. That’s all inclusive. On the same plan, if you have the braces done at the orthodontist then you’ll get a 25% discount, which is still significant. For research purposes you can check the plan out at the link below.
Sometimes you have to pay for each one the pents of the dentist. In my office every thing is include and you don’t pay extra.You should as your dentist before about this on your first appointment . But my friend had the same situation like you and she pay for each one.This is from the office by payments.
The 5000 will cover all the cost of your braces however you will have to pay payments each time you go but you wont have to pay 5000 each time you go.
