I’m not going to lie. I am over due to see the dentist. I take extremely good care of my teeth at home, but haven’t been to the dentist in about 8 years. I have lost one tooth on the side I chew. I now probably have about 5 cavities. I feel so ashamed for even letting it get to this point. I am broke. I am a single dad with lots of bills. My kid always goes, so don’t go there. But medicaid is a pain to get anything done. I need to know where to go to purchase my own coverage. It will need to cover my root canals, fillings, etc. I even have 2 teeth capped from when I was a youth that have never had anything done in 10 years to them. I am just at a breaking point and don’t like feeling yucky. Please help me find good coverage. Thank You!
When I got divorced my employer offered dental insurance. I lost that job and now my new employer does not offer dental insurance. My ex says I have to have it for our daughter according to our agreement but from my understanding and individual policy in MN is impossible to get. Is this true? He also throws this fact at me when he gets unhappy with our current custody arrangement.
I got hit in the face with a golf club, I broke my jaw in three places, cracked my cheek bones, and I am missing a couple teeth. my insurance covered the restoration surgery, but will not cover for my teeth implants. and I don’t have 2k to cover dental implants. so if you know of any schools, hospitals etc. that will this type of surgery for cheaper. please let me know.
I live in Seattle,wa; I have no insurance right now I need to go to the dentist but am terrified going, where would be a good place to go.
I used to wear braces, but accidentally threw out the retainers soon after I had them removed. My teeth have gone crooked again and I can’t afford braces (as well as a lot of other dental work I need to the point I NEVER smile with an open mouth). Is there something I can do like tighten a wire around my teeth every night that could kind of at least make a difference and straighten my teeth a little?
It seems a little odd to me that they do, but my dentist does. Any particular reason?
Oh, funny story, so I’d been measuring my BP every day for a while because it was getting a little high, and then went to the dentist. My BP was averaging, 127/77 or so. At the dentists office it was 150/93. Think I have a little anxiety at the dentists office?
