I am looking for dental insurance for myself. Where can I get the best plans?
My teeth are somewhat gapped and I was wondering if there are any teeth straightening procedures that I could have done to fix them and how much it would be. If not are there such things as invisible braces and how much are they ?
I have a really bad over bite, a narrow palate and an overcrowding teeth. I practically have the worst case of teeth in my group of friends. It really bothers me to have bad teeth not only because it makes me look bad, but it also makes me feel bad. I can barely close my mouth. If I close it, it’s not natural (I think you call it a recessed chin; where the lower jaw needs to move forward just so that you can close your mouth).
I want to ask how will I be able to fix these Problems? I have been searching through the net about several instruments; such as dental braces(of course), Herbst appliance, jaw expander, retainers and Bionator. How much are they? what do they do? Which instrument can actually fix my case? How long do I have to wear them? I also want to know about dental surgery. If I use any of these Instruments, will I still need to have surgery? If I have surgery first, will I still need to wear any of these? What does surgery do, to be exact?
I seriously want to get my teeth fixed, and it’s really hard for me to actually get them fixed since I’m 18 already. If anyone can give me a list of the price ranges of these things please do. I can’t say that I’ll get them as soon as possible but at least I will know how much I will have to work for. Thank you!
I have chronic, painful dental problems. In the last 8 years alone I’ve had at least 50 fillings, 4 extractions, 2 caps, 8 root canals and I’m still in an immense amount of pain. I’m in severe debt because I have had to charge these treatments which have amounted to more than ,000 in just the last 2 years alone. I have begged dentists to simply remove my teeth but almost all insisted that they could and should be "saved". I’m 27 years old and still have a lifetime of this ahead of me. ALL of my root canals are painful, after last years procedures, leaving me with a whole side of my mouth I can’t use. Is it really that crazy to ask to have these teeth removed? I can’t find relief– medically and especially not financially. I can no longer afford to have anything done to my teeth and am hoping that someone can help with advice.
I’m a 20-year-old college student that’s in need of dental insurance, in the South Bay of California/ L.A. area.. I used to be covered by Healthy Families, but they stopped covering me once I turned 18. As an orphan, I’m considered an "independent" as far as school enrollment goes, so I don’t know if that will affect/make it easier to get coverage?
I had two fillings done, both on the sides in the space between two teeth However, there is no space between the teeth, so I cannot floss. Is it hard for dentists to make a little bit of space for floss to get through? Should I get it fixed?
I know teeth shift around a lot, should I just let them shift and make space there?
Im 23, my son is 2. My wife is pregnant, and she and the new baby will join my insurance in september. I am looking at Unicare. I have had good experince with them in the past.
What deductable would be a good idea? I am health, my child is healthy, I know bad things can happen, I can not afford any of the deductables. Office vistits, and pharmacy, and dental is what I am looking for more so.
The lowest deductable I can afford starts at 1000, and even that is a bit pricey. I am having to go through individual insurance because my current work chagres 1k a month for insurance. I cannot afford this either.
I am just confused as to where I should go. Please help.
thanks,
Justin
I have a wisdom toothh here in virginia that is becoming infected. I have top notch dental insurance that pays 90%. We only have one group of oral surgeons in my area. I am on antibiotics, but the pain is very bad. They want 500 cash to do this procedure. I offered to pay the copay upfront to no avail. What can I legally do?
I am self employed and need something affordable.
