I would like to know what is the difference between Dental plan and dental insurance? Which one would you get? which one would cover most of the costs?
I am a student and a veteran. I need my wisdom teeth out and the VA does not cover dental after the initial post service exam. Looking at dental insurance online and would appreciate any intel. Thanks.
Specifically; my payroll service has a client that has AFLAC accident insurance and Health & Dental insurance. They claim to have the AFLAC and dental insurance pre-taxed but not the health? I need to make sure we deduct properly.
I broke my front tooth in half years ago, and they put on a plastic type cap thingy, saying that i was too young for a permanent fix. The plastic thing broke off today and I was wondering if I can claim the cost of fixing it back in any way, seeing as I am a full time student.
I'm 18 yeas old and I have never been to the dentist. I don't have insurance, and I want to know how much an initial visit will cost on average ( I live in Illinois ).
I am 60 and take care of my grandsons, so I have little money to use towards dental care. I need a root canal and crown badly on a tooth that shows when I smile. It looks black because I broke part of it off. Do not tell me to get dental insurance as they do not work for 1 yr. Is there a place someone like me can go to get cheaper dental work?
Are the Philadelphia Flyers Delta Dental Ice Team and the Pittsburgh Penguins Delta Dental Pens Patrol still around for the 2008-09 season? I don't see any mention of them on their respective team websites.
I got braces today. The orthodontist didn't have the option of the colored ones because there's like some new technology or something, so my only options were silver or clear on top and silver on the bottom. I am really bad at making decisions like that, but I chose the clear. Was that a bad choice? Do they get discolored easily?
Oh, and any other tips on braces would be awesome please!
I'm looking to acquire more dental insurance that will work with Aetna dental. This is to help reduce cost. I know people have used their dental and their spouse's together. I'm not married so i need to buy a plan. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’m looking for an individual dental plan and I’m coming across terms I don’t know. One of which is “6 month elimination period.” I have no idea what this means. Please help.

I need a dental insurance that pays 50 to 75 of all dental care including oral surgen. My boyfriend needs a lot of work done on his teeth. He is scared of death of the denist, he has to be put to sleep and he has to have all the work done at one time. Can anyone help me please.
It is a dental plan that gets discounted services, and I think the premiums are around 19.99 monthly
I heard they can bill you but do they usually want anything up front? Or what if I need to get a root canal or something and they schedule me one for later do they expect a certain amount payed before they will do it? Or can they just bill it all?
We really need to get dental insurance that covers crowns, fillings, implants (may not be covered by most) and cleanings as well as other general dentistry. Help!
I just had a dental implant done last week and once it is healed I will be having the crown placed. Two questions…does dental insurance typically cover the crown placement? and how soon after the implant will I know if my body rejects it?
And before you say it i have reviewed my plan benefits and know that crowns are covered at 50%…just want to know if anyone had issues getting an implant crown approved?
I have no insurance, but the coverage for the injury I recieved at the work place, which is for a lower back injury. The carrier does provide me with a bi-weekly check, but I discovered that the dental work I need will cost over 00 dollars. I also would appreciate it if someone out there can also answer this other question: I have recently moved from New York to Pennslyvania, and finding a doctor to continue treatment has been difficult. Thus, I have been traveling to and from the doctor's in NY. to continue treatment as well as benefits. My question is it possible to have the carrier pay for a rental because my car will not last if I drive back and forth for once a month. Please help me out!
Both my kids need braces. What is the average cost for a good orthodontist?
I already looked on google and found a few affordable dental plans for myself…Is there anyone who is currently enrolled? How are the prices? Any recommendations on where i should enroll, or insurance plans i should stay away from? I was interested in Aetna dental plan. Is there anyone whose enrolled with them?
I want to have braces but traditional ones are too long, and the invisible ones are too expensive I think. Can anyone tell me how much it is gonna cost? Doesnt have to be exactly right, a range would be great too! Thanks.
I am 25 years old almost all of my teeth are filled as deep as possible without a root canal. I don't have anywhere near enough money to root canal and cap all of them so once they are impossible to save without a root canal I want to have all of extracted and just get dentures made. I have dental insurance but I am unsure of how much they will cover if any of it and what the total cost will be.
I don't have any health/ dental or anytype of insurance and heard there are discount services that you can sign up with and save up to 80% on your fees, does anyone know of anything?
