Does Medicaid provide any type of dental coverage?

Is there any adult Medicaid that covers dental care or any govt. programs that do offer dental care?

Thank you for your help. By the way, for reference, we live currently in Utah.

Now my question is….see where it says "frequency and age limitations"? where it says something about being 25? I turned 25 on september 2nd, can I not use this insurance anymore for myself, its dental insurance through my employer so it wasnt explained very well, or can I use it maybe until right before I turn 26, meaning can I use it while I’m 25 or did it end as soon as I turned 25?
and why does it say "student age limitation age 25" I’m not a student…this is through where I work, if I cant use it anymore I dont want it so I am trying to figure this out.

I lost my two front teeth in a bicycle accident when I was 13 years old. Dentists tried to recreate them by using bonding agent but it was only temporary. I’m 19 years old now and my front teeth have been exposed to corrosion over the years, making them look terrible. I refuse to smile and I cover my mouth when I laugh. I’m thinking that since I’m an adult and my mouth should stop growing, dental implants are a good idea. If I am to do this, what would the cost be and how quickly can I smile again?

Thank you.

My dog has ulcers in his mouth–one over each side tooth on the inside of his upper lip, totaling six sores (three per side).

At first, I thought that there was only one and wasn’t worried about it, but later that day one of my other dogs bumped into his mouth and it was really bothering him, so I looked and saw three lined up above each tooth on that side. I thought it was odd, but maybe the result of a blow to the side of his mouth (my dogs play rough with one another sometimes). Then, next night (yesterday), I was petting him under the chin, but was avoiding the right side where I had discovered the sores, and he pulled away. I thought it was strange, so I checked the left side and there were sores there too! Same thing as the right: three directly above each tooth on the inside of his upper lip.

We just adopted him in June and the rescue group had had a dental done, and his mouth was fine. His teeth and gums seem healthy aside from his stinky breath.

I know I should bring him to the vet to get medicated, but they usually only offer a cure without a preventative (like if he’s eating something in my household that could be harmful or if something, like stress, could he triggering them). He has been on the same dog food since I adopted him and doesn’t get “people” food.

Has this happened to anyone else’s dog? If so, what caused the sore(s)? Any other suggestions?
With all due respect, I don’t need to be berated by not having sucess with vets; I’ve used many vets and never seem to get the right advice. If you don’t have input on what the cause might be, please don’t reply. I don’t need a lecture, I need help. I think it’s an allergy. His teeth are very clean and he is an adult dog as has all of his teeth.
In addition, I don’t disqualify the opinion of a licenced vet, but am seeking additional advice from people who may have had a similar problem happen to their dog.

I need some work on my teeth like really bad. The dental portion of my health insurance was eliminated last year but I can’t afford dental insurance on its on. And the cheapest plan offered doesnt cover anything and I would be out of pocket more than I’m paying for it. I don’t qualify for any medicaids (this state doesn’t cover adult dental care) and I would really like to save the few teeth I have left. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

I havebeen looking everywhere for health insurance that includes dental(because I want braces)but they are so much (like 290 for a adult and 2 children) I am 16 years old looking for health insurance for my dad,me,and my sister.

My husband is in the military and we have United Concordia Dental coverage. Unfortunately, this plan doesn’t cover much because we’ve had to pay over 0 for one child already this year and now we’re looking at at least 0 for his brother. Is there any governmnt agency that helps with dental bills? Or is there some other program that I can combine with our dental insurance so we don’t pay so much out of pocket? Any help is appreciated!
My dentist DOES participate with United Concordia, they just don’t cover a lot. For example, they think that conscious sedation is an "elective" because a 4 year old should be able to hold still to have a cavity filled right? So stupid, it might be an elective for an adult but not for a child in my opinion. They also have a really low cap, my 4 year old is almost at his max for the year already. To get his cavity filled I had to pay 5 out of pocket for the full price of the sedation and co pays for the other stuff. United Concordia does not provide very good coverage in my opinion, so I’m looking for something to supplement it.

I am a student and have a family. My daughter is under Medicaid and I am wondering if there is any basic dental coverage typically for children with Medicaid and I am also wondering for myself. Is there any adult Medicaid that covers dental care or any govt. programs that do offer dental care?

Thank you for your help.
