What does it have to be socialized medicine to make sure people have affordable healthcare? and dental care?

Why are people bent on painting the most evil picture on a thing that helps people?

I am wondering if the new healthcare reform is going to effect Dental care coverage- I can’t seem to find anything regarding this subject. I am looking to purchase dental coverage and am wondering if the pre existing clause on Dental coverage will remain , or if like on medical coverage, it will be eliminated?

Have lost just about everything in a divorce and my teeth are in great need of lots of work. I make just enough to feed myself, and absolutely cannot pay a dentist. Is there any program in Virginia that I can get into for dental care?

My cat is a healthy 5 years old , has been under the care of same vet since I got her.I am 77 years old on social security and would have to charge the cost of the dental care, my vet is aware of this .Is part of a medical group with set charges in a middle class area.

Plaque and tooth decay are clearly not happening. They are inventions of the liberal media, the dental lobby, and dental special interest groups to get you to pay for dental care and treatments that you obviously don’t need. All the science is inconclusive. Al Gore believes in tooth decay, and Al Gore is a dirty liberal! Therefore, tooth decay can’t be real.

I’m familiar with arguments on both sides, but I’m still not convinced anyone should ever brush their teeth.

I read a book about the Health Reform bills, and it talked about dental care for children. That’s all good and well, but what about adult dental care, especially for the disabled and impoverished? I saw nothing about provisions for adult dental care above the barely minimal provisions already in place in Medicaid and Medicare.

I am 31 and the single mother of 3 children. I live in Missouri and am permanently disabled and on SSI. I have Missouri Medicaid but years ago dental care stopped being covered by Missouri Medicaid. I have since developed very serious dental problems but I cannot afford to go to a dentist. My credit is really bad from the past so I cannot get credit. I am trying to figure out how I can go about getting dental care in the Mid-Missouri area without paying ridiculously high prices to just be seen even. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to going about getting my much needed dental care? It has already been deemed a medical necessity by my doctor and basically all of the teeth I have left need to be pulled soon. Please help me with any suggestions. It would be ever so greatly appreciated because I’m sure if u have had dental problems urself you know that it is extremely horrible to live with not only because of pain but because of self image..

I am a 41 year-old otherwise healthy female in need of urgent dental care assistance.

I was recently told by my dentist that the cost of repairing my teeth would be about .000. This includes five implants and twenty dental units. I am a self-employed single parent. All of the dental plans I have looked into, indicate a cap of around 00 - 00 per year. This means that even if I were to obtain dental insurance, it would only cover about 3% of the total cost. I do not qualify for any kind of state or federal aid as I make enough money to live on. However, I cannot make enough to pay for this treatment.

Before visiting my current dentist, I paid almost .000 to another dentist whose work was so bad almost everything he made broke within a year. I trust my current dentist’s diagnosis and treatment plan. I just do not have the money to pay for it.

Does anyone know of organizations or individual(s) who could help?

is the quantity of dental care demanded very responsive to a change in price?

In Maryland, even with insurance my dental care estimate came out to be over ,000 for something like periodental, deep scalding and up to 6 cavities.

Should I go for a 2nd opinion or just settle with the 1st dentist?

1st dentist is a member of a group practice. Would it be more expensive to go to a private practioner in Maryland?
