ok I am planning to do a retrospective study about failure of dental implants in the school and relate it some factors that might affect it like osteoporosis and and smoking. what type of stat. test i should do ? i have 5 groups , non medication , smoker , osteoporosis , thyroid disease and cholesterol .

I am 33 and have full dentures. I planned to have dental implants put in, but just found out that I need severe bone grafting done. I don’t think that I can afford this, plus there is noone in my area who can do it (orlando, fl). Am I a candidate for mini implants? Also, if I don’t get regular implants and bone grafting, will my face start to sag from having bone loss?

I just signed up with Medicare and I was wondering if Medicare will cover Front teeth Dental implants. I will be paying a month and have plan A and Plan B with Medicare an California.

My questions are, how much does this hurt? How long does it hurt? How long before you can eat "normal" foods? What can you do to lessen the pain? How long does it take for the dentures to feel normal in your mouth? How long before you can speak and laugh normally? What kind of foods are you unable to eat anymore? What is the best product to keep your dentures in?

I got hit in the face with a golf club, I broke my jaw in three places, cracked my cheek bones, and I am missing a couple teeth. my insurance covered the restoration surgery, but will not cover for my teeth implants. and I don’t have 2k to cover dental implants. so if you know of any schools, hospitals etc. that will this type of surgery for cheaper. please let me know.

I was in a severe bike accident: lost 2 teeth, chipped 4, and damaged bone in the gumline. I have had two bone graft surgeries and am looking to get 2 dental implants. My top teeth are misaligned from the accident and I was wondering if Invisalign would be appropriate after having bone grafts and implant surgeries performed. Please Help!

I thank all those who helped me a few days ago but I am reposting this in hopes of chatting with someone that has actual full mouth implants.

I would like some serious impute from anyone who has actual full mouth dental implants currently implanted in their mouth. I had my teeth shattered and not repairable for quite a few years. They have now been removed and I have been dealing with dentures for over a year now that have had many adjustments and I still can not eat correctly with them (even with glue) and I would rather go without. I have been trying to decide on implants that would be more stable for biting and eating but safe. Something that is closer to natural teeth and has the strength of natural teeth. I want to be able to bite chicken off the bone kind of thing. With my dentures, I can not even bite into a sandwich. So any kind of full dental implants you have and advice, could you please tell me your personal experiences so I can better select what may be right for me? I do not want to go to a dentist and have him convince me that his way is the right way just to make money off me. There are 4 kinds - snap in, snap on bar, screw down that only a dentist can remove every month or so to clean under, and groups stuck together with one or two posts implanted per group to ancore them in and those are not removable. Before I choose I just wanted to get some info from actual users of one of these to help me choose better.

Can you get dental implants while you have braces on?
