I live in Central Valley Ca and I have no dental insurance I cant afford any dental plans I desperately need dental work done, my front tooth is missing. I am 24 and I don’t smile that much and don’t talk to a lot of people because I am insecure about my mouth. Does anyone know where I can get low cost dental work done in close to where I live?
i spent 8 years in a bad place, without any dental care and now i’m paying the price for it. i need major dental work… implants/bridge work. does anyone out there have any advice? I know it’s a long shot.. it’s just that i’m barely making it as it is..
does anyone know what insurance I can purchase for individual that will cover at least half or more of my dental work?
I am a 57 yr. old student, who is on a limited income, and needs some dental work, does anyone know of a low cost dentist in The Chula Vista, Ca. area
i work full time, and want to have some dental work done, i was looking online, not having any luck.
I am 25 and a Veteran of the Iraq War. Before I left for Iraq, I had dental insurance with my mom’s work and I was getting a lot of work done. Half way through it I got called over seas to Iraq. I have been back for about a year now and need to finish up a lot of that work and get a little more done. Army wont cover it and I’m not rich.
I would like to get it all done soon. And I don’t mind paying for it. However I have tried detal loan companies like carecredit.com and due to my low/bad credit, I do not qualify. I refuse to go to a college or school to get this work done. And I do not have Dental Insurance at this time.
Most Insurance Plans have a minimum waiting period of 6 months for any major dental work or will not cover any of the previous work that has been started. I have talked to most major individual dental plans and they all sey the same thing or will only cover ,000. I need a few crowns, a bunch of fillings, a dental implant and a little more. HELP!

I live in Oklahoma near Elk City

Hi, I need some advice.Am in my 30’s and the dentist told me I have a bad case of periodontal disease and that although I have great teeeth nothing in the world can save them ( my denstist’s words).Basically my teeth have been coming loose from my gum and I already wear two partials some for my two top teeth and two bottom teeth.
Now here is the problem, my insurance only covers only $ 1500 worth of dental work. If I get the rest of my teeth pulled out @ 65 a tooth ( the cheapest I could find @ affordable dentures) it adds up to almost the total amount from insurance. I will be left with no teeth and no dentures!
So I have to come up with the rest of the balance to make the top and bottom set of dentures, am at a loss because I dont have this money. I know the least amount I have to have together on top of the 00 dental insurance money is 00. Any suggestions?
I had bad dental work done in Algondones, Mexico in February 2008 at Gator Dental Group. The dentist was Dr. Miguel Fuentes. He make seven (7) crowns for me and all seven (7) will need to be replaced. My bite was off, I could not floss between some crowns. The crowns were not seated correct so I had open margins plus extra cement around the gums and between the crowns. You can find good and bad dentist in Mexico and in the United States . I just found a bad one.
I’ve been quoted K for dental work by my American dentist and can’t afford it. I’ve heard that dentistry is much less expensive in Mexico and that most dentists there are just as skilled as US dentists.
Ok so im 21 years old and i need dental coverage cant get one thru my work for another 6 months and need dental work before then. i was told 18 months ago that i need to get my wisdom teeth out real soon cuz if i let them grow in i will mess up my entire mouth cuz i dont have room for them and i already have one regular tooth grow in years ago that grew in all weird due to crowding any way i lost the insurance i had and never got my wisdom teeth pulled now ive had one grow in and i can feel another growing in so i need to get them out immiedately but its so hard to find a plan that doesnt have a waiting period for oral surgery so ive found one plan that doesnt and a discount plan and i just want to know which one i should get which one do you think would be cheaper..
I need to Get all 4 wisdom teeth removed and another tooth that grew in wierd due to crowding that is causing problems so i know this is alot of work to be done and aint gonna be cheap so heres the 2 plans details and please help me decide which one would be better for my situation THANKS!
Discount plan- .35 monthly copay no deductible and for oral surgery no waiting period 55% average savings and 25% discount on specialist services no deducible.
Dental insurance plan- monthly deductible annual max benefit 0 oral surgery no waiting period coinsurance 60%

My husband is contemplating some major dental work and while partials arent the affordable method we’re not sure if having all teeth pulled and getting full dentures is the best idea.
I need to find a good dental insurance plan for me and my family. It needs to cover 100% of basic dental work (like fillings, cleaning, etc.). If you have a good one, can you give me the name of it and a web address where I can read about it? Thanks!!
I need fairly serious dental work done
no dental insurance and barely above minuim wage income
are there clinics or income based dentists anything like that
I currently live in Canada, Ontario to be exact. I have just recently lost my job and wasn’t covered by dental coverage anyway. But over the past while I had a tooth that rotted due to me having soft teeth in my mouth and at first it didn’t really bother me to be honest but it just broke in half and now every time I move my tongue it hurts more than sin itself.
I tried OW (Ontario Works), which is assistance, to see if their dental coverage could at least get the tooth removed properly and the infection in my gums dealt with (Also, the tooth is a small molar) and to no avail. I’ve been trying to find a job and also considered seeing if a dentist around here would take installments so I could just go on assistance and pay for it that way to no avail on either.
It’s starting to get irritating, extremely irritating, that it’s this hard to get some basic dental work done. I’m about ready to start doing some terrible things to what most would consider good people.
Anyone have any answers that can help?
I dont want to have to pay out of butt for my insurance.
I need it just for myself.I dont really want a high deductible. I am going to need quite a bit of dental work in 2010. Extractions and such.
I dont even know where to start.
I’m not taking the dental insurance through my employer.
I would also like a higher "annual max benefit"
I am currently "shopping" for dental insurance. I am very confused right now. I don’t know if a dental work discount plan, or full coverage is better. It doesn’t seem like a discount plan would cover what I need done (major stuff like tooth removal and root canal) but it seems like with a full coverage plan I would have to pay a lot, which I can’t really do.
Can anyone explain some pros and cons? What is a deductible..what does that mean? Do I have to pay it on top of a monthly payment for full coverage?
Any type of help will be appreciated! Thanks!
I am thinking about getting braces (preferably Invisalign) and I don’t have any insurance at all. I’ve been doing research and haven’t found anything reasonable. I am looking for a good dental or orthodontic insurance plan that will cover or give a good discount on braces and/or dental work. Any information that you can give me will be helpful. Thanks!!!
Just a quick general knowledge question. Someone at work here is questioning our dental plan becuase she needs a root canal. I personally rarely use the health or dental coverage. I was under the impression that most dental plans paid a percentage of the cost of dental work up to a predetermined out of pocket amount for the insured. For example, the insured may have to pay 60% of the cost of dental work during the year up to a total out of pocket expense of ,500, after that , all is covered. Someone else at work is saying it is the opposite. The insurance co. will pay their percentage up to a predetermined amount and then it’s all on the insured. How are most policies structured?
i need to have dental work done, but no insurance.
I have tons of dental work that I need and want to have done but the cost is crazy (,000.00).
Hello I dont have insurance and I need some dental work as well as vision. Any advise on a good dental benefit plan (not insurance) the discounted cards? I need some gum work, whitening, maybe pull one, and fixing a chip (front tooth). Thanks for all answers
I have dental insurance but they only cover up to 1000.00 worth of treatment yearly. I am very close to maxing out and I have a lot of dental work left to do and my insurance does not roll over until next October. So I the question is… Are these dental savings plans through Aetna, Cigna..etc… worth the money? I would like to find one where I don’t have to pay up front and be refunded later… Any suggestions?
Hi, I am a 21 yr male living in TX (Houston area). I live alone, apart from my parents, I work part time and go to school part time. I’m basically a poor struggling college student. Anyways, I know I need some dental work and also it would be nice to have health insurance. I was on medicaid but and went to like a poor peoples clinic where they offered limited dental and medical services but they wont do root canals and crowns, which im pretty sure i need one. My work only offers insurance to full time employees and i hear its really not that good. What in the world can i do??? I’m broke as it is and dont have alot of money for expensive plans but im willing to take out loans. What do poor people like myself do when the need dental work and dont have insurance?
