I’m thinking about doing a carrer in dentist but I want to know how much it cost. Plus, how long?

I have not been to the dentist in years because of a bad experience. Since then I have had 2 back teeth chip and now begin to decay. About half of each tooth is gone. I know that I need to go in and have them fixed but I figured it would cost too much without insurance. My question is whether anyone knows how much a visit like mine would cost.

So I have been working at my job for about 4 months now. It is a really good job but the bad news is I’m still considered part time although I can end up working 70+ hours in 2 weeks if I cover for some people that are out of the office. So what does that mean? You guessed it…I don’t get any health insurance! I am a 24 year old, single woman with no children and no major health problems (that I know of).

I live in New York City and here you have to make under ,000/yr or under 0/month to qualify for Medicaid. I make too much and I can’t really afford to go to Healthy NY (which they say is an alternate if you don’t qualify for Medicaid but can’t afford individual health insurance). The lowest I would be paying there is 8 a month and 7 for HIP which is what I really want. But the kicker is this…I wouldn’t even get dental or vision! If I didn’t have a job I could go apply for Medicaid and get the works but I work hard and still don’t make enough and get jipped! I also tried going to that free medical place but after meeting with a social worker she sent me to Healthy NY again when I already told her I couldn’t afford that.

I haven’t been to the doctor in so long and of course I feel fine. But I need a physical and to see a dentist just for my own peace of mind. I have also started to feel a lump at the back of my head off to the left. It doesn’t hurt but I’m not sure what it is. I have had a cyst before and I was thinking that’s what it was but I’m no doctor. Are there any places that I can just go get a physical and pay cash for it or get a free physical without having to meet with a social worker and all that mess that ultimately puts me back at square one? Thank you for your answers so far. Thing is the hours that I work don’t permit me to get a second job but I don’t work these long hours ALL the time but I do cover for others that are out of the office often. p.s. i work for a law firm and these guys know how to get around some things…trust me!

Have lost just about everything in a divorce and my teeth are in great need of lots of work. I make just enough to feed myself, and absolutely cannot pay a dentist. Is there any program in Virginia that I can get into for dental care?

abscessed top back molar been infected for over 3 years. Been to dentist after dentist who refuses to extract it. They want to give me a root canal instead. So for 3 years the only positive thing I got out of any dentist was prescribed antibiotics and surgically draining the abscess. Very frustrating dentist are out for the money instead of patient wishes! So what do I do pretend no insurance or try to find a dentist from Mexico who will extract it?

I’ve got Cigna Dental Insurance with my company and I’m trying to find a good dentist in my area. San Jose / Fremont , CA area to be exact. Anybody know of any websites I can go to to research review Dentists?

My teeth are falling apart. Its mostly genetics and from being pregnant. The last dentist I went to said that it would cost anywhere between ,000-,000 to fix my teeth as they were then. They are hurting now and two of them need crowns. I have exposed roots. I need to go somewhere I can get help!! My 24 year old son is in desperate need of dental work. I cannot find a dentist who will see him. I have dental insurance, but medicaid will pay for his dental if the dentist feels its medically necessary to put him in the hospital. need ship dental implants I know that in san Fransisco everything is so expensive is any other place that any body khow in los anjeles for dental implant is just to expensive in sanfransico and I know that some dentist sometimes come to unites states to do some work on they own from others country’s they are not certificated here but they are still dentist any trust full dentist I can go to juts look all over and the site and they are over 3000 thousen ich tooth and who knows if need something else It will be more and I cant afort the kine of money are this people crazyzy they see us as gold mines in here and I need some work asp thanck you
