i don’t want to have to wear braces for years. my dentist also said things like invisaline won’t work for me. the main problem is my 2 top canines. is replacing those with better fitting dental implants a good choice? would they also over time start to shift?
I am 31 and the single mother of 3 children. I live in Missouri and am permanently disabled and on SSI. I have Missouri Medicaid but years ago dental care stopped being covered by Missouri Medicaid. I have since developed very serious dental problems but I cannot afford to go to a dentist. My credit is really bad from the past so I cannot get credit. I am trying to figure out how I can go about getting dental care in the Mid-Missouri area without paying ridiculously high prices to just be seen even. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to going about getting my much needed dental care? It has already been deemed a medical necessity by my doctor and basically all of the teeth I have left need to be pulled soon. Please help me with any suggestions. It would be ever so greatly appreciated because I’m sure if u have had dental problems urself you know that it is extremely horrible to live with not only because of pain but because of self image..
I am a 41 year-old otherwise healthy female in need of urgent dental care assistance.
I was recently told by my dentist that the cost of repairing my teeth would be about .000. This includes five implants and twenty dental units. I am a self-employed single parent. All of the dental plans I have looked into, indicate a cap of around 00 - 00 per year. This means that even if I were to obtain dental insurance, it would only cover about 3% of the total cost. I do not qualify for any kind of state or federal aid as I make enough money to live on. However, I cannot make enough to pay for this treatment.
Before visiting my current dentist, I paid almost .000 to another dentist whose work was so bad almost everything he made broke within a year. I trust my current dentist’s diagnosis and treatment plan. I just do not have the money to pay for it.
Does anyone know of organizations or individual(s) who could help?
I am twenty years old and unfortunately, have never been to a dentist. My parents could not afford dental insurance and sadly, my teeth have suffered. I was never taught proper dental care (I didn’t know you were supposed to floss daily) and only brushed once in the morning.
My two front teeth have a cavity between them, so large that it has created a very ugly, uneven gap. The two lateral incisors have basically almost completely rotted away and there are cavities forming in the incisors next to those as well. Two molars in the back have completely rotted, leaving only large brown holes in my gums.
The saddest part about this is that I was voted "Best Smile" in elementary school. : [
What’s even worse is that my wisdom teeth are about to come in. I can feel it.
I have done much research on the procedures that I will need done. For example, I know I will need extractions on my four front teeth, a root canal on two of my molars, fillings in probably 8 teeth, crowns on a few others, and I would like to get implants in the four teeth that are extracted. All of this, based on my research, would cost ,000 or more. I did the calculations to be safe.
I have CareSource but they do not cover more than two dentist appointments a year unless you have a certain condition and they stop covering cosmetic procedures after you turn 21 (I’m not sure as to why, it’s all pretty messed up).
Are there any places in Ohio that are offering smile makeover contests, free dental procedures at dental schools, or any other things of the sort? I really need this fixed before June 2010 as I am supposed to get married.
I know a 77 years old male, he is a heart patient. All his teeth are rotten and he needs to have them removed. unfortunately, medicare doesn’t cover it. He doesn’t have money to pay for it. He lives in Fort Bend county in Missouri-city, Texas. Is there any dentist (individual or group) can help him? I have heard that Dental Schools in Houston area provide pro-bono services to low income families. Could anyone help him? any suggestion on this matter will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
Are you living in communist country, or do you know any body who does? Or can you help us with information on dentists living in communist countries in the past and/or present.
-What is their standard of living as a dentist?
-What is their monthly or yearly salary as a dentist?
-Their housing expenses or types of houses?
-Their transportation/nutrition expenses per year or month?
-What is the cost of their healthcare and can they afford it?
I recenctly went to the dentist due to a couple of infected teeth. After a thourough look into my mouth he said that I needed a few procedures done to "save my mouth", including a couple of root canals and other extensive work.
Once he left the room, his assistant stated that between her and I their is a dental school in the area that does procedures at sometimes more than half the cost of at least the dentist that I went to. She said the name, but I don’t remember, and I don’t want to call the office and ask her and possibly get her into any trouble.
I unfortunately don’t have insurance, and am awaiting the next sign up date through my work, I am also looking and considering other insurance.
Does anyone know of a school in the Chicagoland / NW Indiana area where I could look into getting the work done?
Thank you
I am looking for individual health insurance that would cover basic things such as a regular hospital visit, eye exam, dentist, etc in the short run for at least 6 months. As well as cover minor accidents like having a twisted ankle. I’m not really looking for something that would cover me if I had cancer or a major health problem. I’m looking for something with medical, vision, and dental. Pretty much preventive care and maintanence. I am looking to switch jobs since benefits are not offered where I work.
I was having a Chinese meal at the time and the post snapped off and is inside the crown, so it’s useless. How long is reasonable before the dentist can ask me to pay out again?
