I’m looking for individual dental insurance. Does anyone have any recomendations…

I am so dissatisfied with the dentists on the Aetna DMO network in Northern Virginia. I have been to so many and each one tells me a different story about my teeth and what needs to be done. I know I have 2 cavities that need to be taken care of asap. I also know that I would need a crown for each of them. The dentists so far have said I need to do ‘6 root canals’, and another dentist says that I have ‘half a dozen cavities but no root canals. Today the same dentist tells me I have only 3 cavities and nothing else. Two crowns became 3 crowns within the span of 2 weeks etc…
Either these dentists can’t read the xrays or they want to rip off the patients. I was told my gums are sensitive and I would need to treat them first before my cavities.
I have no bleeding, no pain or any such symptoms that would show sensitive gums. I feel so misled.
I want to know how much it would cost for me to buy individual dental insurance. Also if you know a dentist who is genuine, pls let me know tx

I am looking for individual dental insurance, i want a ppo plan, i have a dentist and i don’t want to change. I have done so much research and call so many isurance companies but all they have is discount plans or hmo plans. I don’t want either, can anybody help. I’ve been to so many sites and like i said spent hours and hours on the phone talking to all these companies and am having no luck. I just want the dental and i know that i would have better luck if i combine medical and dental but right not financially that is not an option. any help would be very much appreciated!

Does anyone know any individual dental insurance with a PPO plan and has NO waiting period? I live in the state of California.

I’ve already tried Blue Shield and they have a 6-12 month waiting period for the PPO plan. And I’ve already try tons of other dental insurance (Metlife, Safeguard, etc) and they all have HMO plans or doesn’t provide individual dental insurnace.

Anyone know of any good individual dental insurance plans with orthodontics? I know the coverage for the orthodontics won’t be much but the insurance I have right now is with my husband’s employer and there is no ortho.

We recently moved to Az my husbands job does not have very good dental before we moved we discovered that I am going to need overbite surgery-its causing alot of problems - headaches,earpain,swore jaw, but to make a long story short , I am having trouble finding a individual dental insurance here that doesn’t have an annual maxium of more than a 00 and that covers overbite correction.

I am currently looking at purchasing an individual dental insurance plan. Is Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Select Dental or Delta Dental Individual Choice Premier better? I am having a hard time deciding.

i need to have 3 wisdom teeth removed, about 4 root canals 1 or 2 extractions and some filling. would individual dental insurance really help me save any money or am i better off financing through a dentist office and getting a discount plan?
i went to a really bad dentist in the past and she only put temp fillings in, so that i would keep coming back for more dental work. needless to say i need the dental work and i dont plan on going back there
