Going to have dentures, But want to have the snap in dentures, does any one know how much something like that costs, also there wouldnt be no extracting teeth because they have already been extracted, About a week and a 1/2 ago. I will have regular dentures soon, But if snap ins are affordable for me, Then when I get my 08 Returns back I want to start wioth my bottoms. Dont need an exact price just a ball park.

I do not have a job and need work on my teeth. My father is trying to get single dental ins for me but he can’t find ins only dental discount plans. When we start out they say insurance plan, then when we call to order they say well this is just a dental discount plan. What’s the difference?

I have dental insurance in cobra but it does not cover adult braces. I am looking for a dental ins. that individuals can buy. I also heard there is ortho ins. as well. I have decided to try to buy the ins on my own because most group plans do not cover adult braces. I am not looking for those discount programs. This is a really hard topic to find on the internet! Any help would be appreciated.

it seems like there are a million dental plans but for the services they offer they only pay like 30% of what it costs so it kind of seems stupid to pay them every month when you’re going to be stuck with a huge dental bill anyways. Are there insurances that pay like how health insurance is, if I get a bill from the dr from something health ins didn’t pay it’s usually just for lab work and everything else was paid in full or close to it.

A friend of mine live in Iowa and he needs an individual dental plan. I have dental experience but I am not familiar with the private ins carriers out there. He has to have a private one he doesnt get it through his work. Can you help me out?

I am having much difficulty in getting an answer that makes sense from my dental office insurance biller. I had dual insurance at the time I had services. In my experience billing medical items, we always wrote off anything that a contracted insurance provider stated we had to write off. If they had co-insurance remaining per the EOB, then and only then did we bill the secondary.
1) My dental office isn’t writing off anything per the primary insurance EOB with which they are contracted. 2) The are billing different dollar amounts for the same procedures to the 2 different insurances, 3) They are trying to tell me that if the insurance didn’t allow for something they can bill me more than the EOB states is my responsibility- ie. if insurance allowed for only amalgam filling vs. resin composite (I think this might be fraudulent since they are a participating provider), 4) CDA’s website states only balance billing up to the lowest contracted fee, office is saying 2nd ins is controlling.
