Ok,
Should I get traditional metal braces or should I get clear braces no not invisalign but where the brackets are clear?

I just got metal braces yesterday. I’m definitely still adjusting to the feeling of metal on my teeth. Now I am feeling the pain, but I know it will go away soon! Anyways, I wanted to know what foods are good for braces. Also, I would like to know the foods to avoid and stay away from. Last but not least, what are good foods to eat while I am experiencing pain in my mouth? Thanks for your time and answers.

Im thinking about getting clear or metal braces.

Would you rather pay the extra money for clear braces (not Invisalign, but the ceramic kind) or stick with the original metal braces? I’m getting braces soon and I’m debating between the two choices and I’m looking for some insight from people’s personal experience with the two different styles.

My teeth are too crooked and crowded to start with invisalign, but I’m 18 years old and I don’t want metal braces for three years. Could I get traditional braces now and in about a year or so move to invisalign?

I am 24 and planning on getting braces for myself. I went to an consultation with an orthodontists and she quoted me 00 for ceramic braces and 4200 for metal braces, both for 2 years. They do however give a 10% discount if I pay in full. Are those prices about right or a little bit too high?

Thanks!

i have a tongue thrust and it caused me to have an over bite. i had metal braces as a kid, now id prefer ceramic ones. how much do you think they would cost in new jersey if i just got the top done and just to pull my teeth back into place? ik ill have to go for a consult, but does anyone have any ideas?
