I thank all those who helped me a few days ago but I am reposting this in hopes of chatting with someone that has actual full mouth implants.

I would like some serious impute from anyone who has actual full mouth dental implants currently implanted in their mouth. I had my teeth shattered and not repairable for quite a few years. They have now been removed and I have been dealing with dentures for over a year now that have had many adjustments and I still can not eat correctly with them (even with glue) and I would rather go without. I have been trying to decide on implants that would be more stable for biting and eating but safe. Something that is closer to natural teeth and has the strength of natural teeth. I want to be able to bite chicken off the bone kind of thing. With my dentures, I can not even bite into a sandwich. So any kind of full dental implants you have and advice, could you please tell me your personal experiences so I can better select what may be right for me? I do not want to go to a dentist and have him convince me that his way is the right way just to make money off me. There are 4 kinds - snap in, snap on bar, screw down that only a dentist can remove every month or so to clean under, and groups stuck together with one or two posts implanted per group to ancore them in and those are not removable. Before I choose I just wanted to get some info from actual users of one of these to help me choose better.

I have crooked molars and overbite. My teeth feel really uncomfortable. Especially when I speak and eat. I don’t have lot of money. I found out university’s dental school run clinics for dental cares. Would it be good idea to go there for braces?
Do they perform dental cares correctly? are they worth it?
what do you mean it hurts more?

Can you blame them? Only Individual coverage premiums will be raised because young healthy people are not applying for medical insurance. Also keep in mind the cost of health care is going up therefore Blue Cross in CA will need to raise the premiums on the individual coverage in order to pay their member hospital, dental, or patient visit bill.

What are your thoughts on this matter?
This company’s profits have been inline or below their competitors. I guess since they employee thousands in most states they should not make any money to pay them huh?

My 3 year old son was playing with a group of kids in the neighborhood. They were playing with plastic swords and he accidentally hit another child in the mouth, chipping his tooth. His parents obviously feel we’re responsible to pay all dental and medical bills. I’m willing to pay some money, but wondering what we’re legally obligated to do, if anything? Absolutely no malicious intent. This did not happen on our property, whether that matters or not. We do have homeowner’s insurance.

and what is the whole procedure like?
what happens?
I’m getting my braces off January 4 & they’re kinda off white and my dentist said i could get them bleached after? but my mom said she probably doesn’t have the money.
i’m only 15 so i don’t have anyway to pay for it.

so how much?
and what are some alternatives

I am 60 yrs old and have high blood pressure. My spouse is 62 and smokes. Under COBRA, we would pay 6 a month for medical and dental. That coverage started in February but I have until May to decide if I want COBRA or not. At this point, if I choose COBRA, I have to pay for the months of February and March which have already passed. It’s a federal law which makes no sense. But anyway, that’s 72 out the window. Am I better off using my money to get individual health insurance? My concern is that I don’t know how having high blood pressure and my spouse being a smoker will affect things. Also, I recently had some dental work done and told them they may have to file a claim through COBRA if I do get it. The billing lady told me that they have problems with billing to COBRA because it’s taking COBRA 60 to 90 days to pay a claim which will incur interest for the patient. Has anyone experienced this? I’m just so confused about all this. I’d appreciate any advice.

I know a 77 years old male, he is a heart patient. All his teeth are rotten and he needs to have them removed. unfortunately, medicare doesn’t cover it. He doesn’t have money to pay for it. He lives in Fort Bend county in Missouri-city, Texas. Is there any dentist (individual or group) can help him? I have heard that Dental Schools in Houston area provide pro-bono services to low income families. Could anyone help him? any suggestion on this matter will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

I am living in Norway, Is there any way to get the money (atleast some part) which i spent for my dental treatment in Norway?

Need advice from all of you that have knowledge about this:
I have a premolar on the lower side that the dentist said needs a root canal (I used to have a crown over it,so it is very weakened) ,then a missing molar, then another missing molar.Dentist wants to do a root canal to the premolar, then put a crown over then an implant to the next molar so I can eat on that side .I was wondering since the premolar is weakened , will the implant be strong enough?I heard you have to have very good teeth and bones to have a good implant . Is it better to just extract the premolar and put a partial denture which will be also less expensive . Money is a concern for me ,but at the same time I want the best at the most affordable price.Thanks.
