Joe,
A discount plan is a great idea but just make sure to double check that there are providers in your area.
Go to: http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/bigsavings and click on Locate a provider. Once you have done this just click on Join Now to get immediate savings. The plan will cost you $11.95 a month!
If I were you, I’d go to a dentist, get my teeth cleaned and talk with him about what work needs done. I’d then call around and compare prices with other dentists in my area. Don’t forget to mention that you are a private pay patient.
I’d apply online at http://www.carecredit.com and use the money my job gives me as the payment to Care Credit. Care Credit pays the doctor, and you pay them back with reasonable fees.
Best wishes!
A discount plan may actually save you more money, as veeners, if covered by an insurance plan would only be covered at 50% and they will only pay a maximum of @$1000 for the year. Some dont cover them at all considering them "cosmetic".
See a dentist for a thorough treatment plan. Then contact your human resources about what insurance options are available to you. Some discount plans are only available when seeing a participating dentist.
